Christa graduated with a master’s in international relations from King’s College London. Her primary interests are the recognition of women and children in global, national, and local politics and the development of communities where all members have opportunities to thrive. Christa is also a director of Waging Peace, a former director of Sudan Divestment UK, and writes for Examiner.com.

Christa has worked with N4A since 2006, assisting with developing and implementing projects in Rwanda. Having started as a London-based coordinator, in October 2007 Christa moved to California, where she oversaw the successful application for nonprofit status for a US branch of N4A. Christa has been to Rwanda twice, including as the team leader for the summer 2007 projects. She currently serves as a consultant to N4A and as treasurer for N4A US; she also liaises with Doncaster, the American clothing company that has partnered with N4A to sell jewelry made by women in the Aspire program.
